Waves of heat A desert blast She stands among The cactus Her giant wings spread The heart of an eagle Pounding in her chest. She�s seen things I�ve only dreamed. And her dreams are the world�s Waking miracles. So much to be said in her presence But the inferno surrounding her Stops my tongue Swells it while I thirst For her words As they smear their way Across my mind, She disappears And Truth remains.

This is vibrant and sharp look at what truth means to you the poet but it transcends over to the reader making them consider their own evaluations of what they believe. This is a great thing to do for any writer.

Truths do tend to come with flames of pain but it does clean us doesn't it? Great write. Love the descriptions.
