This is what I brought for you today

To tell you in my very own way

That I love you so dearly and true

Each day of my life I think of you

As my one very best friend

My loving mother with her gentle hand

Who can solve all the problems and tasks

That daily occur and respond to the questions I ask

Who’s soft touch can wash a way my tears

And who’s kind voice will turn off my fear

Your soft eyes can see into every corner of my heart

And see my troubles right when they start

So many days and nights have you been by my side

And so often did you let my pranks just slide

All my life you’ve been right there

With open arms and heart, so much love to share

I thank you mom, for all you’ve done

For all those sweet memories, with you they have begun

I love you Mom, come take my hand

It’s time for me to you to tend.
