It seems each year at this time we remember those who have passed.

t's Christmas Eve again and I'm awaiting the ghost's arrival

Each Christmas Eve I stay up late to greet them when they come

No I'm not crazy this is just part of my sanity's survival

I know them all so there's no asking where they are from.

They wander into my mind one by one when I try to rest.

I knew them all when they walked this earth

Some I loved and hated. Some of the worst and the best.

Christ told me to forgive them all the good and the bad

Some had rough lives and some did better than the rest

One I loved even took his own life oh so sad.

Life can be hard not easy to pass the test

So as they come I talk and pray

Sometimes stumbling over what to say

Just say I love them and I'm okay

Tell them not to miss me as soon I'll be on my way

Christ told me we all would be together again some day.
