Haven't shared in a while.. been working on a new book..) Hope you enjoy this bit of prose and rhyme...
Hello World! I have not written to you lately But I believe it is now time To share my bit of prose and rhyme In expression of this request. I have never asked for much Of this life nor of those who share Time with me, traveling here and there But I will ask of you this. I do not ask for praise As I leave my imprint behind, On a heart, a soul, or mind. It is what I must do. I ask not for pity or sympathy For the trails life has let me borrow... Nor do I seek that sorrow That may come my way. I only ask and need acceptance And respect from you, with no pretense... Just acceptance of my differences And respect for my similarities. I promise I will offer you the same As we explore our shared existence And applaud our every journey.

I enjoyed reading your poem today, Myrna this is a great poem informing the world how things are and the way they will be no matter what, each of us is unique and special in our own way and
has something great to offer to the world, people make the world
go round. keep writing.
