Do you know how to e-mail
A son of mine asked me
I was not interested then
It seemed so silly hehe
I didn't own a cell phone
I didn't see the need
I'd never been on the Internet
I was old fashioned, in-deed
Well, one day I got with it
I had to for business sake
I finally got to e-mailing
I became a hypocrite, a fake
Obsessively I sent e-mails
Next, got a cell phone too
Texting other people
Is what I live to do
So now it is the question
Of when is too much too much
I think my son wishes he never asked
If I knew about e-mailing and such

I don't know how I got by without email before. I know I used to get sore finger writing letters. I like this better and with Instant Messenger, I can talk to someone across the world (even see them live) and it doesn't cost me a cent. Thanks for the reminder, Lynn. Love and best wishes,

Lynn, this is too funny. I don't know if was meant to be, but my husband says the same to me about my poetry writing. Wishing, perhaps, that I'd never started this avenue of communication. Enjoy this new outlet. I do.
Text messaging is beyond me, and forget Yahoo Messanger! I have no use for either! Give me the land line or the old fashioned telephone any day! Cute write; well written, Lynn!
