Every dog owner will know this feeling!

For goodness sake just stop for a minute
I can’t keep running round like this
You’re here one minute then gone the next
I’m beginning to think you’re taking the p*ss!!!

You’ve had me on all fours for a while
Then jogging around the whole house
And now that I’m totally knackered
You’re sleeping as quiet as a mouse.

I pick up the washing you knocked down
Finding a sock which has new holes in it
So I’m moaning and calling out your name
Then turn and tread in your pile of sh*t!

I know you’re only very, very young
And still have so much more to learn
But I truly wish these puppy days were done
Because some calm my heart & body does yearn!
