The first poem I ever wrote was a limerick. I was five years old. The poem was written for my older sister Anita who was a cocktail waitress at the time AND who came home on more than one occasion a-little-bit tipsy...

Poem Artwork

There once was a waitress named Lizzy
who was puzzled, frantic, and dizzy
the order she gave him
was due to her cravin
she wanted vinegar in her gin fizzy...

HAW! Good 'un!
Reminds me of a DOONESBURY cartoon: "Did I order gin or scotch?" "I didn't remember either, so I put in both."

Cool limerick for 5 years old. I got one for you:
There once was a writer named Murray
Who tried to write in a hurry
She scribled with pen
Erased now and then
And the words kept coming out blurry!

Thanks for your friendship. I love your poems.

That beautiful port Victoria
Is too talented ever to bore ya
Her erotic teasing
And humour is pleasing
Vicki the world will adore ya!
Couldn't resist that - love Ian
