i half agree...
i did some travelling last year and i found that i saw people i knew in the faces of people i didnt know.
in ethiopia this woman reminded me of a good friend even though this woman was black and my friend is impossibly white.
but yes... there are places and moments that are so familiar while being in completely foreign cities. its most wonderful.
and with email and cellfones no one is very far away anymore... even in ethiopia...
