A little girl feels so all alone, but in this world she is fully grown Afraid of nightmares in the dark, of hands that touch her in the night Not knowing who it could be, especially when she cannot see Whether it be family, friend or stranger, she had no warning she was in danger A little girl but fully grown wonders why she feels so alone Help me please she cries inside, what must I do, where can I hide I want a life that is safe and loving, but for some reason I stop it from becoming A good wife and mother I want to be, if only my past would leave me be If only I could push the pain and drugs aside, maybe then I wouldn't want to hide I need the help to be a good mother if only I would allow myself to recover Selena Dobbin-Gillis

Very touching, Selena. Like a Stranger in a Strange Land, our "Little Girl, But Fully Grown" struggles to have her own meaning. I like the depth in your work. Children are wiser then adults, our inner children feel only lost in our grown up bodies and struglle always between the adult woman, the adult mommy, and the adult she wants to be. I could share many stories of the little girl waking up in her grown up body. Thought provoking write. Lady J

This has filled my eyes with tears for I do believe I know this once little girl and believe me she is crying all the time, for she isn't who she wants to be and she is screaming for someone anyone to help her. This touches the heart deeply. I wish there was just one thing I could do to reach out to her, she has been loved in so many wrong ways by so many wrong people for so many wrong reasons.
She is in my prayers,
