I see my dream before me
Beckoning from a photograph

I understand your need to do the right thing during lent like so many do after they fail with their Christmas resolutions.
That monochromatic white and building with the white washed area does not remind me of a cottage in Ireland at all. Mine would blend with the green landscape with a traditional straw roof and flowers rather than stark white nudity, banishing nature in stark contrast with the red accent.
In high school, I designed a red, white and dark charcoal gray stone home. But when I built one in Atlanta, it blended in with the natural environment beautifully.
The last time I looked at the house on Google. It looked like the forest had been cleared of undergrowth or there was a fire because the house no longer is natural cedar but white color with some additions that the original house didn't have like skylights to the bedrooms. Now looking quite ugly.
I'm hung up on the optical illusion coming from the house. It looks as if one good step beyond the open gate and anyone is in for a deep valley surprise. To say nothing about the first step coming out of the frond door. Or are those dangers part of your dream?
