Pagan Rites of Spring, this poem is a tribute to those that circle the fire.

You and I, a moonlit sky.

Panting sighs and lust filled eyes.

Dancing `round a flickering fire,

excitement mounts as doth desire.

An earthen alter, braced with oak.

You in your robe, me in my cloak.

Chanting praises into the air,

spirits crawl to exit their lair.

New beginnings,

rites of spring,

life is granted to everything.

Safe within our blessed circle,

hearts are pure,

bodies fertile.

Bless me Goddess,

with life this year,

soothe my soul and

ease my fear.

Smooth my journey,

lighten my load,

blessed be,

the seeds I've sowed.

Salt surrounds us,

incense in the air,

moonlight gleams upon your hair

An earthen bowl

 in which sweet water stands,

a fire is burning

 branches into brands.

A fleeting smile,

a darting kiss,

within our fire white embers hiss.

Prancing by,

a grazing touch,

soft moans in throats

that say so much

Sensuality rules the night,

it courses through this Pagan rite.

Sacred leaves from sacred trees,

we bow before them on humble knees.

Cool breezes flow

and caress bare skin

nipples perk

from robes so thin

Goosebumps travel along your spine,

I am yours and you are mine.

We feel no plight,

this blissful night,

all is good and all is right.

A bowl of milk

we leave for Faer folk,

find it peacefully is our hope

Unique poem on an ancient theme.

Fire's energy
Mingled ash
Through door of destiny
My form and my match

Sage,
'An it harm none, do what ye shall'...Blessed Be
