Pinewood Wind Songs

Feeling close to nature. This poem was composed while I was sitting among the tall white pines on our property. When the wind blows, it sounds as if the trees are singing.

 


 


          Pinewoods Wind Song


 


 


Pine boughs sway and call me


            to dance with them


 


In sync with their silky


            sensuous rhythm


 


Pinewoods moan and whisper


            with breathy  sound


 


Caress me with feelings


            so  newly found


 


The trees singing soft rustling


            music that blows


 


Right through my skin to my heart’s


            river that flows


 


Earth listens. Wind moans. Sky sighs.


             Rain weeps, I fall


 


Pinewoods Wind sings love songs to


            Seduce us all

Wonderful! You painted such a picture with your words that I could see the trees swaying and hear its mysterious song.....
