For those of us close to the coast of North Carolina, it's time to move on!!

Batten down the hatches
Fill up the tank
Hope Irene blows past
But know she’s not
Pack the bags
The kids, the dogs
Start driving
And hope
The house is still there
When Irene is gone!

I live 30 some miles inland from the Jersey shore & know I will experience some of the crap thats coming up the coast...couldn't you NC people just keep Irene there till she fizzles out...? e
