A call to seek God

A painful cry throughout the world, as words of hatred and lies are hurled
Spewing lies that appear as truth, appealing to both the aged to our youth
Better recognize the "Father of lies", coming to you in radiant disquise
Setting a course of death and destruction, distraction and total dysfunction
Your God destiny he seeks to abort, and so in temptation he faithfully courts
His aim will one day take its toll, and you will forfeit your eternal soul
BUT !!!!!
There is One whose name is above every name - He took away all sin, guilt and shame
And even if you deny the truth and in fleshly desire are in hot pursuit
Stop! Seek Him because He wants to be found, His glory is revealed all around
It's in His word of Truth, the earth and the heavens are living proof
He is the God of all therein, the Most High God, the Holy Sovereign
Yes, we may fall short of His glory, yet that's not the end of this true story
No matter the past, no matter the sin, God gives the chance to begin again
You say you were born that way?
Well God wants to give you a new birthday
Oh it is so awesome! A love so pure and true and then some!
Please come out of darkness into His marvelous light
Honor God and do what's right in His sight
Christians, will you pray and live God's word everyday?
Will you cry out and lament too? God's waitng to hear from you

II Chronicles 7:14- If My people who are called by My name would humble themselves and pray, seek My face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.
