Few indeed are those who truly know the art of loving, and only the
individual concerned can possibly metamorphose their own outlook and future, without prompting from others !

It is often said that sometimes, while looking for what you most desire, you are blind to that which is right in front of you. A small poem that can fill an entile collisseum(sp.) with memories!!

The scars of the past often remove us from what we could have now, if only we could learn to trust, to believe. The veil of darkness shrouds our vision and we turn away from the only star that could lead us back into the light. There is comfort in that dark place for we know that we can survive there, but there is also a hollowness that can only be filled by stepping out of our protective cocoon. This is an amazing write, Lori, strong and introspective and perfect for a time that is slated for new beginnings. Happy New Year to you!
