I’m imperfect
Never claimed anything else
But I delight in that imperfection
I cry at movies
And curse at the winds
I want to be good
But I shy from improvement
I yell for passion
But I decline to sweat
Hell what can I tell you
I’m a woman
I demand the right to be imperfect
And damn anyone who reminds me
That above all else
I am
Imperfect, that is
And confused
Are you?
