I’m not really a scrooge
I like Christmas as much as anyone
I spend as much
Shop as much
Eat too much too
It’s necessary this time of the year
Overindulgence
Thy name is December
We can complain
We can try to rebel
But when that morning comes
We will be five years old again
For just a few minutes
Nothing we can do to change it
So enjoy!!
I am
Scrooge or not, I still loves ya. I can be a Scrooge at times myself, but I need to get over that and find the joy that is Christmas. Hard last year when I was so sick (just got out of hospital three weeks prior; was very weak), and this year, not being able to get anything or having any money comin' in...well, I am feeling frustrated. But I do love the lights and the carols; somehow that makes me feel better. We even have our tree up.

And to HELL with political correctness. I STILL am going to say Merry CHRISTmas, and nobody can tell me otherwise! If they don't like it they can lump it, as far as I'm concerned! So THERE!
