Every day I plot my escape
Sure this will be the day
And every evening
I pack up my hopes
And put them away for another day
I can’t leave you
My heart has been gone forever
I can hardly remember when I loved you
When you made my heart beat
With passion and dreams
That warmed me body and soul
I can hardly remember
When I didn’t pray each day
For this to end
When I didn’t hide each night
From the need
To say goodbye

very sad-this is now how life should feel

Sadness in these lines, Sue, I echo Karen's "Are you okay?" Let us know...please tell me this is just the Muse expressing itself and not reality. Well penned, in any event.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
