Salutations to the Sun.

Soular Salutations

My Soul.

My soul is a breath of God

A summer breeze that whistles thru the trees

parting the holy curtain in the window of the cosmos.

My soul is a ray of the Sun

A divine parcel of the One

Illuminating the darkness

casting shadows on the walls of the temple of the holy spirit

painting dreams in color

the reflections on the panes.

My soul is a wave of the Sea

crashing on the shore

for all eternity, forever, por siempre. Dying to be Free

Transition

Living. Dying. Dying to Live again.

Cycles. Seasons. The beginning and the end.

Is this the end my friend?

Or is it the beginning?

Will I be back again?

Will the sun shine forever?

I will fly into the sun, returning to the one…evaporation…completion…resurrection

Life is but a vapor… a candle in the wind.

Ending, beginning; silence once again.

I am I…but, who am I?…does it really matter and if so Why?

Part of the whole? do I have a soul?…or does this soul have me?

Possession, control…my flesh and my soul…are we going the same direction?

Separation, Isolation…am I really free?

I am just a drop in the ocean, but I am a part of the sea.

Evaporation…ascending into the sky…

Life is but a vapor.

Death.

Life.

Beginning.

End.

The empire crumbles to be rebuilt again.

ashes to ashes

dust to dust

Treasures destroyed by moths and rust

Good.

Evil.

Darkness.

Light.

The void and the substance

the wrong and the right

Reflections.

Shadows.

Laughter.

Tears.

The pains and the joys

the love and the fears.

Shadows.

Illusions.

Bodies.

Souls.

The times and the places

the fire and the coals.

Destruction.

Creation.

The Light of the Sun.

Someday we’ll all Return to the One.

Healing waves wash over me

Caressing tenderly setting my soul free

My mind ebbs with the tide

My soul is going for a ride

Leaving my body behind

Never been this high

I ascend into the sky

Life is but a vapor in the wind

Will the sun shine forever?

Will I return again?

Will I come back to pay for my own sins?

Will I shine from above or fall from grace?

What goes up must come down

We’re all spinning round and round

Somewhere between the earth and sky and sea

What is life but a vapor?

A whisper in the wind

What is love but a fleeting thought that comes and goes again?

Stealing the moment

Passing the time

No need for atonement

No reason or rhyme

THE CENTER OF THE SUN

Rythyms and circles and cycles
Gyrations of the soul
the orbits of the sun and moon
the tides of the sea
the way your body moves
to the waves of energy
the wind and the water
the earth and the fire
all reaching to the one
the nucleaus of the matter
the heart of the stone
the center of the Sun.

Cerebral Gyrations.

Cerebral gyrations overcome hesitations.
shadows…light.
manifestations of an unknown reality
interpretations of perceptions seen and unseen
gentle persuation
time to move on
follow my feet

Holy Words

Holy words left unspoken whispered on the wind

echoed by the raindrops
Listen…
Syncopated rythems
My heart beats in time.
Entangled bodies…
minds
souls
ONE.
body…mind…soul…
An ocean of raindrops and a river of tears
drops of joy and pain
wash away my fears.
Fallen angels from heaven water the lilies and ascend to the sky
summoned by the sun
carrying out their sacred duty
EVAPORATION.
Life…Death…Beginning…End.
When the Sun rises I will ascend into the sky.

As I Wish Upon The Sun…

Shapes shifting. Form and substance dissipate as Light and Shadows dance…intermingling of elements and energy…bodies clashing together in the night…dualities melt into a single entity…creation and destruction simultainiously…cycles rotate endlessly…death…rebirth…evaporation…precipitation…forces, centripedial and centrifugal swirling like the wind… the wheel of life spins…over and over again…Gyrations around the alpha the omega the beginning and the end…giver of all life, the origin of energy, matter and spirit…Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu…All the stars orbit around the ONE…As I wish upon the SUN.

THE COSMOS

Perfect ORDER of the UNIVERSE
is a Struggle for Equilibrium.
ORDER is BALANCESometimes…

PEACE

can only be found on the other side of

WARLightening always seeks the ground…

craving to distribute itself evenly…
offering its entire being to every grain of sand
…OBLITERATIONInhale… Exhale
We’re Living and DyingCREATION
DESTRUCTION
IT TAKES TWO TO MAKE ONE
LOVE IS THE UNION
THAT CREATED THE SUN

A New Dawn

Child of the Sun

Washed clean by the tides of reason
unknown comes the child…
Unraveled by the sands of time…
Baptised by salty foam…
The moon at it’s fullest hour pulls gingerly…
tugging…pulling…
Wake up oh Sleeper!
Rise…child of the night…child of the sea
Rise!
Rise to meet the morning long before it comes…
Usher in the new beginning…
Rise as the midnight dew gathers on the grass
and come to me in my dreams…
I see you in my minds eye…
leading me by the hand…
thru the gates the garden awaits…
you lead me there without a care
across the desert sands
where i have long laboured with painful toil…
Smiling…laughing…
you look back at me as i follow you into the mist…
Lead me to the garden immortal one.
Lead me to the Sun.

Awakening

I streched my limbs beneath the bodhi tree when the morning star arose…

Awakening in the garden beneath a new dawn

Arising from the ashes

of the fire that smoldered in my heart till the dawn

quickening my spirit

cleansing my soul

peeling off layers of illusion

brushing off the dust from the ruins of a crumbled empire

I stand

I stand in the garden, naked and unashamed, with my fist raised in victory

This Knee shall not bow!

Breathe In

A new Life

Inhale the sweet aroma of victory

cast away the chains and fetters of slavery and the stocks of correction

I have come to set the captives free!

Exhale

purifying the senses of the illusions and shadows of the rulers of the darkness

Renunciation of false authorities,

the gods and masters that rule over the dust and the dung

Renounce all ties to an empire built by the hands of slaves

atop the burial grounds of the martyrs whose blood crys out from the ground.

The Witching Hour.

Awakening before the Sun

that witching hour.

In the still morning the dew lingers,

longing to be raptured to the heavens

the earth is waiting…

anticipating the coming of its maker.

Alas, the light bearer pierces thru the darkness to summon the souls of the martyrs home.

Born Again

In the deepest recesses of my being I am faintly aware of an ephemeral essence that transcends form and substance. In fleeting moments of enlightenment the rays of divinity shine through the windows of my soul and casts a shadow of the unseen upon the walls of my mind betraying everything visible and material as illusatory and transient… Nature. Beauty. Love. Character…awaken me as from a dream, stirring me from my vain occupations, leading me out of my withering abode into the truth, into the reality of the moment…Suspended outside of my body above the axis of space and time I am transported into the heavens, birthed into a world that i long dreamed existed but had faded to a distant memory, buried beneath the sands of time… Once again naked and helpless, breathing for the first time, i am born again. Consciousness dawning, realization of being a parcel of that divine, indefinable Spirit that is All in All, the Beginning and the End. The One. It cannot be possessed or contained but i long with every fiber of my being to be completely consumed by it.

Visions

Visions are shadows from behind the curtain that separates the ephemeral from the temporal, the holy place from the most holy place. They are mediators between conscious and unconscious, soul and mind. They are metaphors illustrating deeper truths. Nature itself is a vision, a puppet show, a reflection as in a mirror, an image thru a stained glass…”Now I see but a poor reflection…then I shall see face to face, now I know in part, then I shall know fully even as I am fully known.”-Apostle Paul

Wilderness Sactuary

With reverent awe I pull back the curtains and slip into this sacred sanctuary. I soak in the beauty that surrounds me and a great wave of peace washes over me as the curtains close behind me shutting out the world. I am finally home, in the presence of my heavenly father, I remove my shoes for I stand on holy ground and proceed into this vast holy sanctuary via a trail in the pine straw and oak leaf blanketed forest floor that I have traversed many times before. The sun shines thru the branches illuminating my path. I pause for a moment to soak in its warmth and then proceed in silence for a word spoke in my tongue would be a foreign language. The terrain is rugged, wild and beautiful, the forest a virgin, unscathed by the hands of sinful man, it is pure and un-violated. It speaks in a language I have forgotten. The language of my heart. I lose myself in the thickness of the forest in which the four walls of my chambers could not even attempt to hint at the measure of blissful solitude the shade of the oaks provide for me.

Enchanted Forest

The sun sets and soon the moonbeams fall thru the pines, shadowed by the smoke of a newborn fire as the days labor is reflected in the embers and consumed in joyful celebration soon to be a distant memory overshadowed by dreams in which the morning rays alight… a perpetual cycle devoid of the illusion of time…welcome to the enchanted forest, where the dew-drops on the leaves glisten in the morning sun and acend into the sky transforming into a tapestry of stars under which we lie…consciously dreaming, into the mist we fly…rising with the smoke above the pines.

Moonbeams

I chase the setting sun I am moonbeams on the run a reflection of the sun shining down on me. As the moon pulls in the tide we’re all going for a ride cuz we’re all just a floating in the same blue sea. I pull seeds out of their deaths, babies from their wombs, proclaim an end to rest, butterflies rise from their tombs, moonbeams I am you and you are me. I love the sunshine too but I’m lost without the moon. I need it’s light to lead the way for me.

The Desert.

The moon is her muse and the sun is her soul. grains of sand, sparkles of moonlight, and that rainbow…it goes all the way around… Shadows of moonlight reflected on canyon walls…ever changing pictographs…spirits changing form and substance…rising like plumes of smoke from the fire… burn to ashes…returning dust to dust…She lends herself to vions transcending time, space, and reason… soaring like a hawk above the pyramids of pharoahs… Shitting on the heads of those who dare to place their thrones above the earth… Mocking the tyrants who claim to possess the knowledge of good and evil… She herself is a reflection of Devinity… a testimony that there is no God higher than the Sun…To the Sun have we come and to the Sun we shall return…

somewhere in between.

somewhere in between defiance and surrender…somewhere in between the darkness and the light…you feel it in the witching coldest hour…before the sun-rise burns away the night

Flow

Lose your illusions, find yourself, peel back the layers and put your dreams on a shelf. Lose your life to save it, if you save your life you’ll die. Let go of your ego, you’ve got to fall to fly. Fall in Love, deny yourself control, reckless abandon, set free your captive soul. Let the river flow, let it flow to the sea, don’t let your soul be damned break the walls and live free. Free to love, free to dance, freedom to just be.

Quite a collection of poems! I like the latter ones best because they cover different subjects and are much more coherent than the ones that focus on the sun and are so repetitive.
