Crocodile tears
None ever suspected him,
When his wife went missing.
He was the first to report the matter to police.
He could faint in front of well-wishers.
He could cry himself to bed.
He could give a crocodile smile,
To his children and relatives.
Deceiving them into believing ,
That he was concerned ,caring and loving.
He could shed crocodile tears in front of the police.
He could shed crocodile tears ,in front of in-laws.
Deceiving them into believing ,he was innocent and stressed.
Yet inwardly he was a ravenous wolf in sheep's clothing.
A monster in human face.
A devil in christian clothing.
A smiling crocodile.
A tearful crocodile.
A pretender.
A weasel.
He was good at playing his cards ,close to his chest.
When the body of the wife,
Was discovered decomposing in a nearby river,
He was the first to put flowers on the murder scene.
To deceive our eyes into believing,
That he was loving and in grief.
He footed the bill for the funeral.
The coffin was carried on horse driven chariot.
To deceive the world into believing,
That the wife was so special to him.
He gave a moving ,grave side speech.
To deceive us, into believing ,
That he was in genuine grief.
One, two,three...,
Minutes were ticking.
The net closed on him.
DNA and forensic evidence linked to him.
As he rot in prison,
He still sheds his crocodile tears.
Deceiving the world that he is innocent.
Yet the truth is,
He murdered his flamboyant wife.
Due to jealousy.
None should be fooled by his crocodile tears.
You have to rot in jail,
The smiling and tearful crocodile.
That is where you belong.
Now he must pay at judgment day
Peace be with you
