There is a land were dreams always come true .
full of love and happiness for me and you.
Lollipop street l.ights and candy cane lanes,
Animal cookies used to make trains.
Gummy bear cars zip along the rood
Street lights made of butterscotch gold
Stores full of rainbow jelly beans
you can make anything you dream
Spirals of licorice fly in the air
Sugar plum faeries drive them with care
Chocolate bars stand straight and tall
Holding up bridges so none will fall
Clouds of cotton candy slowing pass by
Shining chocolate stars fill the sky
Unicorns and faeries dance to the tune
Listening to the lullaby of the moon
In this magical place beyond the moon
Past the galaxys silver stars
That dance with colored lights
Throwing their brilliance afar
Faeries gather to dance the night
with bluebells ringing lovely sound
the symphony felt within the heart
As all are surrounded by natures light
I am not much of a reader and do not like pro's. Enough said your work is MARVELOUS. It stays within the picture your painting. Rhythmic poetry has music with it, which holds one in the song or dance, which makes one romance.
One should not talk about themselves when complementing others.But when I went to San Diego to writers conference. They said Rhythmic poetry is OUT. At the end of conference they handed out all the awards. This is OK that I did not win anything, until they said they had a special award to me and wanted me to read the poem about reunion of writers. It was 2 and 1/2 pages. I had to stop three times because the laughter was so loud it drowned me out and when finished I got a standing ovation. At that point I thought to my self isn't funny they say what I am doing is wrong, but look how much enjoyment they received. So Kathleen ( What a Beautiful Name ) keep doing what you are doing it is great !!!

Enjoyed the lovely colourful and happy images you painted in this wonderful lullaby for I could probably put a lilt to it and sing it as such to my grandchildren to have them going to sleep with such a wonderful place in mind.
