Transcendental Sonnet #1264:
Better Left Mysterious~*
My awfully strange sense of humor
Which some have called queer
Gives rise to wink and nudge and rumor
Here and there and here
Within my poetry a tumor
Of a certain oddity
An abundant perhaps redundant
Uncertain commodity
Lurks in the shadows of my runic rhyme
And should I have nothing to say
Then I would say it anyway
If I just could be more clever every time
I think I might write better when serious
Some of us are better left mysterious~*
