Transcendental Sonnet #1366: Cold Crimson Dawn From the weary brow of a hill I watched our reality burn The question: will we ever learn? The answer: no we never will With all consumed the valley gone I dreaded that cold crimson dawn Which spoke the sky had turned to blood I knew there was yet more to see After the fire then came the flood The remnants came down with the mud In slow-motion catastrophe Today the rains have gone away The fires out as hope battles doubt Today on this first day of May +Steven Curtis Lance Copyright MMV
