I took this photo last month at our shack in Missouri. Though it looks rather like a gray rainy day picture, it was actually shot at midnight as I tried to capture lightning strikes during a thunderstorm without a tripod. It sort of reminded me of a giant flash camera.

Missouri at Midnight. Fascinating, Patrick. Need I say electrifying?
Next you might try capturing lightning in a bottle. -gene.

I don't know about god, but sometimes mother nature–if you take her picture–will give you that tingling all over feeling and I'm not talking about the feeling you get while having an orgasm–more like the feeling you get when you're being electrocuted!

I've heard about people who didn't know enough to come in out of the rain. I'm thinking those that don't come in out of the lightning might be in yet a different catagory....

Just thinking, mind ya, not that I'm making any conclusions. Dick

We have been in the basement all day amidst a great string of tornadoes and storms, lightning just everywhere, so I can truly appreciate this one tonight!

And ,maybe yoodle, this from a guy in Missouri, what happened to the ,show me? Maybe it was just Odin, ridin his goats across the sky, throwing old warheads. Superstitious people with cameras, tsk, you're scarin the religious folk. Love! Jasmin Horst

It came out good in my opinion. I am pretty sure I see Bigfoot in the lower right of the shot, hunkered down among the foliage. Watching you.
