Its all very confusing

you see I am not sure

its very much like

should you open or close a door?

I always thought I was normal

in a funny sort of way

but in these times we live today

I must be boring

in a very sad decay.

You see I was weaned on The Goons

mimiced Peter Sellars

never grew up without a laugh

now it is so sad.

I look around at this world

find it hard to be glad.

Not that I am moaning,

no thats not my way

just not sure if things are funny anymore,

leave me cold

with nothing to say.

Still I have my locked in memories,

in my head on a CD Rom

and if I reciet some poetry

it will be from Spike Milligan.
