(A metaphor)

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!
May the Good Lord bless you...real good!

Poem Artwork

What a revelatory year 2012 has proven to be

my eyes were opened to so many 'things'

that before...I did not know, or see

Sometimes I passed through trepidation

and sometimes I walked with much doubt

truly, nothing but My Compass...led me

with its sure dependability and clout

So here I stand...on day-one of 2013

and as I peer down its corridors...oh my!

it appears to be...so...serene

Yet, surely hidden there...are rocky roads I must tread

and certainly, a few storms I must overcome, too

still, now and then, I'll find smooth walkways

where the bright sunshine is beaming through

Decisions must be made on which paths to choose

for its my faith on which so much depends...

but even more...it's is My Compass that I 'must' use!

For, if I rely upon My Compass

it'll guide me...well...to wherever I must go

and will prove itself...more...than worthy

through this present year...I know

It's Workmanship is One-Of-A-Kind, Regality ...Amassed!

this 'Supreme Necessity'...I 'cannot' do without

so yes, here I come 2013, me...and...MY COMPASS!

 Ps 32:8, 48:14

Joyce, without the adversity, what joy could there possibly be? Keep your knapsack filled with wonder, joy and love and the journey will be more than you could ever have imagined. May peace and love be with you My dear friend. Jon Michael
