Here, We Stand... 

at entrance of a brand-new year

however, I cannot take an ounce of credit…

in fact, no way…could I this badge wear.

 Wherefore, without a doubt, each hour of my survival

was orchestrated and governed by You

 as foggy trials periodically rendered me blind…

having absolutely no view! 

Times my footsteps were sure, yet oft I trekked unlevel ground

but You guided me…Your Care did abound.

You...! The Miracle Worker...was always there

doing what You alone could do

and day after day, I repeatedly found...

I was taken through.

Tattered…? certainly, but not at all destroyed

as, it was proven…You are my Rock of Ages!

albeit, as we proceed in Your Strength…I will not veer

for my Faith in You…now rages.

I refuse to speculate about the avenues which lie ahead,

roads…You’ve already conquered, thus I have no dread. 

We will cover destined pathways

and I’ll not bother at all to question my end

knowing whatever things …lie in store

are controlled by You, Yeshua…my friend.

Tightly I’ll cling…my eyes stayed on You…

while navigating another year in this, Your earthen land

and when we arrive at its end…us, still …so in Love... 

 There…We Will Stand!
