What can I say…of twenty-twenty one…

but, that which is true without fail…

Jesus, Lord and Savior, for me…He won!

It only takes a swift glance back…

at the months which have flown

to have come to a solid conclusion;

our relationship has…definitely grown

So riveting and entirely intense

His Love…refused…to let me go…

melting me, deeper…into His Embrace

as derision rose, darting…to-and-fro

Though the ground beneath me trembled

and the sky above me growled

the…Sound of His Voice…saved me

with words…that muffled the howl

For, He allowed…nothing…

which was not a necessity

and, when He led me to bend the knee

His Strength…absolutely shamed…passivity

Oiling my dry bones…He…

kept my spirit lubricated

verily, my valley became…His Garden…

sprouting faith flowers…that rejuvenated

Now, after months of world and personal vex

I stand on the starting line of a brand-new race

If, I were alone…I would not even dare

but I move under His wings with haste

His Couture Warmth…is graciously felt…

His Hand rests on my shoulder

Renewing…pulsates, we are closer…

and I’m delighted …He is my boulder

So, yet again…for another 365 days…

my moorings…He…will hold

Yes, yet again…

He…will answer troubling knoll

And what will be said at end of 2022

but that, which cannot be denied, again...

Jesus, Lord and Savior…delivered me and drew
