Poem Artwork

To A Person Who I Thought Cared

I am sinking deeper

Into this quicksand of despair

As melancholy covers me up

Some riddles in my life

So bloody hard to understand

Deep down in my heart

I hurt so f***ing much

I do not know what I did so wrong

Or why you are so ignorant

To answer the questions I asked you

For some whispering words

Cast a shadow upon me

And your ocean thoughts

Like nails in my coffin

Covering up a bleeding heart

Not Knowing why

We drift apart!!

This was the last plea

From me to you

You know who you are

Without a doubt

I am sinking deeper

Into this quicksand of despair

Knowing

I will always care

What ever comes my way!!

"J"

A painful sad poem of total hurt. I myself call them stepping stones. No one and especially one as beautiful and loving as yourself deserves for one second to hurt like this.
My love for you

A lot of pain here, Tinka, and loneliness. I don't know who this is about, but I know the feeling well, and sometimes we can't always see an answer...sometimes there are no answers, but there is strength in you...and faith. With that, we are never truly alone. I will keep this.

Well, I can feel your pain, Tinka. And, though this might sound trite, I can totally relate to your emotions and to the meaning within your verses. Love and peace to you. Regis

I do not know what I did so wrong

Perhaps it's because you didn't do anything wrong, Tinky - and sometimes the answers we seek sadly never ever come.

Excellent work, a sad and touching piece.
Hang in there kid-o. Many have risen out of the quicksand of despair.

Hey sweet lady. Let me offer this, I feel less sorry for those who waste their love-than those who love is wasted on.
Which would you rather be?
I am so sorry if your love is wasted, but love could never be wasted on you.
:)

Blue moon, Tinka? Know all about that. At this stage in my life, there is really not one person I can count on. So I lean on the Big J.
Plenty of aquaintences, but true friends are as rare as the tanzanite from your beautiful continent. I bought a ring with tanzanite stones to remind me that in His eyes, I am priceless, even if the world regards me as otherwise. I can manage to emote anger fairly well, but I envy your facility for pouring out your feelings. What a release that would be! Its a healing thing. Remember, Tinka, that you are the Phoenix and you will rise up again out of the ashes...Luv, Linda

I know how you feel. Sometimes people just shut us out with no explanation. I consider it a form of controlling behavior, the silent treatment. Move on, Tinka. You don't need this person if they don't care enough about your feelings to tell you the problem.
Great write, btw. Good stuff with heavy emotional impact. ~~Nordette

Tinka I know how this one came out because I too am feeling very similiar feelings of despair and desertion and though I feel like a part of me has died I am trying to cling to the part that is still filled with love and life. Perhaps we can hold hands as the quicksand pulls us down.

All I can say is, turn to the one who will

never forsake you, you are too vulnerable Tinka

and get hurt from those who only care for the moment.

You have to learn to do the same or keep getting hurt.

nothing is forever in this world!Especially in cyberspace!
Happy Easter!;-)

Sorry if I offend
