“Mermaid”

I hear a skylark sing

Beside the water of the sea

Wandering on white sands

Passing miles and miles of dunes

I let myself drift away

Far beyond the moon and stars so bright

This feeling within my heart

Just feel so right...

Let it carry me up and down

So pure of soul and deep of heart

Peaceful in the rebirth of knowing

Fair is the night

New is the song

While skylark sing out loud

Beside the water of the sea

I rest and muse today

Mermaid of the sea

Takes me away

I cry

Ah Tink, as always your writes wreck havoc on the romantics in the audience and you know I am one of those. Love this one and love mermaids.

Tinka

I love the song of the spiralling skylark, and the roar and thunder of the crashing surf and sea..

Beautiful and edifying composition
