Poem Artwork

I am okay...nothing have changed though...the only thing that have really changed is my hair. I have cut it short...boys cut...less to worry about!

I have come to realize that fate it just playing with my emotions. And no matter how hard I try to believe in a better tomorrow...the less I believe there is such a thing.

I have lost my will to write about all my pain life dealt me...and the happy moments are so little...just like a dream that goes away each time I try to take another look at it.

***~***

Empty

I feel so empty

Like someone in jail

Detained

I feel drained

Tomorrow is vague

Nothing to look forward to

So bleak

Feels like the winter’s cold streak

Yearning for love

But who’s?

Walking through life

Looking for laughter

So lonely

Just to realize it is only fate

Happiness is passing me by

I burst in tears and cry

Loneliness is my burden to stay

There is no other way

The searing honesty of this grips my heart and throat, Tinka. I'm so sorry to hear that this is how things feel for you right now. Reality is what's going on in our inside, no matter what the external circumstances might be. I do hope our words and love across the world and cyberspace can lessen the feelings of isolation and hopelessness you express. While we live and breathe, tomorrow is always another day. Sometimes we can't change either people, our relationships or personal circumstances, but we can change the way we allow them to affect us. I'm sure all of us can honestly relate to your pain in some shape or form, without diminishing it's enormity. But I pray that the load may be lightened and the darkness shattered so that you can breathe and experience beauty again. Love to you across the miles, Darlin. Kate xx

My dear Tinka,
It's heartbreaking to know you suffer the pain of loneliness and despair. But God has a plan for you. There is a reason for every day of your life. Be patient and let His plan unfold.

Tinka, below this commentary I see name after name after name, each with a heart that feels your pain and sends you love. Remember, too, that you are never alone. God is everywhere, even within.

You are a dear and sensitive soul, Tinka, and in your heartfelt poem Empty, you bring us a new measure of understanding. We are so blessed that you share your words and feelings with us. For all we have in life is Love, my dear Tinka, and we love you dearly.

Tinka, I hate giving "advice"...but sometimes I think, even though it may be difficult...it's better to think positive in an effort to bring the positive to us. I have been where you are...and at times, still visit there...but I know...from my own experience...things can change...it's all in the way we think.

happiness is a strong decision inside the head Tinks, there are things to be happy about, maybe you're looking too big, actually true happiness doesn't exist, my happiness comes from learning to deal with my own messed up life positively. anyway you wrote this, now write some more, don't give up your verse, write about a dream world and get into it, queen, love&hugs

sometimes when things are bleak
sometimes when we've lost what we seek
sometimes when it's all a losing streak
sometimes when we're tired of being meek
someimtes we just need to take a leak
let it all out
twist & shout
turn it all about
let it go
feel which way the wind blows
water the shit & see what grows
after all, who knows
not me
i can't see
i can't hear
for in my fear
it's all unclear
and so to poetry
i seek to find Me
for in my words comes clearity.

WE lose the will to fight back more and more as each days passes, because while we are in the right, they who caused the pain just keep heaping it up into piles of D**s***, causing us to be mired in our efforts to survive. But when we stay strong, when we can put both feet firmly on the ground, and stand up for what we believe in, that pile of D**S*** gets smaller and smaller. It took me many years to finally learn that lesson, and without friends like you Tinka, I would not have made it this far. But my inner strength supported by my friends with their encouragements, and chants of fight on, I gained the strength to let the world know what has happened to me, and who did it. I will never know the why though, but I know what and who.

A while ago I thought I had something to look forward to, and then I found out that most of the supporters that egged me on had backed out, leaving me and my S/O to fend for ourselves. I was in a strange country, with very little money, and a tourist visa. But, it seems to me that the saying "all good things come to those who wait" had no idea what they were even talking about.

This is a very well written piece, Tinka, and it has emotions and feelings so deep, that the reader can't help but feel them. Thank you for sharing.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie
