As I walk this forest,
the lush, deep greens of nature
surround me, the silence of
God’s beauty deafens me.
Silence walks in unison with
the beauty of this place,
blending and spreading colour
through my heart.
Sounds of man’s world
fade in the distance as
I walk deeper into the
hues of healing and solitude.
My soul speaks to the
wilderness of this place.
I walk hand in hand
with the elements of this land.
This peace, found only
in solitude, seen only in Truth,
I receive with gratitude to the Father
for having given us such wealth.
