Grady,

I looked on the popular nature list and saw this. I think it's fascinating and so true. But what's strange about it, is this is 2010, with earthquakes all over the world, and you wrote this 5 years ago! Wow. You scare me, my friend.

I does give one the ol' smack down, doesn't it Grady? In the words of Bob Marley "We've got to fulfil de book." There are brighter days ahead and each of us who is riding this storm out, have been chosen. No matter how difficult it seems we are blessed to be here now. It is time for each of us to figure out how we are going to make a difference and secure our future and the future of mankind.

Excellent write Grady, even though dismal outlook, we'd best get used to it for there is more to come and even worse. Funny how even believers don't want to believe it!;-)But we're only human...

This is a sad write. Let's hope it is not reality. I think people can make the change, like Ghandi said, if we be the change we wish to see in the world, it takes one step. But as for nature, she never holds any prisoners and never will, nor has she all through time. We are too detached from nature to understand it anymore, and maybe that is why we are caught off guard by its ferocity that was and has been there forever.

Gosh! Grady, thank you for letting us know! I have not watched the news this morning so this is actually news to me.

I'm so sad that there are so many disasters on earth. Isn't it the fact that man-made wars are useless? Wars are SOOOOOOO useless when you know that nature can wipe you off the face of this earth in just one minute of a time span!

Each day someone dies and another is born. In the totality of life we will all one day be called to answer for our earthly being and when it is the time for the earth to be reckoned with God we know not the hour or the day.
