I just read this in the paper over breakfast. This occured in a ceremony turning over security to the Iraq army. One American commander commented, "our soldiers don't celebrate to this extreme." Too me this was just an animalistic display. Back during world war two the Japanese cut out the hearts of some of the downed American pilots and ate them. It was suppose to give them power over their enemy. Evidently it didn't work because they lost the war.

Mean animalistic critters in Iraq,
little bunnies and frogs they did attack.
During a turn over ceremony,
they ate the little animals like baloney.
Gutted the rabbits alive down the center,
chewed their hearts after the enter.
Passed the dead carcasses on,
so others could feast upon.

Bit and ate the alive frogs,
like greedy animalistic dogs.
This was suppose to be a show,
so the American commanders would know,
they were ready to take charge of
their own security,
but
this seemed an act of
animalistic obscurity.

I’d like to feel we’re all human,
but sometimes I think
we’re still WW2 German.
The human being in God’s image,
when it comes down to a scrimmage,
might revert to the wild,
act lower than a God child.
I guess animal is in the gene,
the reason some are so mean.
Nature of the beast,
any animal will feast.

And that's putting it mildly. That Man can lower himself to such nadir of cruelty is terrible. You did right to point this out. Victor
