PARK YOUR BUTT
A lesson I learned
from my dear departed mother.
I’ve met lots of people
but she was like no other.
This lesson is unique,
though maybe not profound.
Sometimes when you park
it’s best to turn around.
This lesson I learned
long after I retired.
Even then my mother’s lessons
left her much admired.
Park your butt, you wonder,
what could that mean?
It has nothing to do with sitting,
which is exactly what it would seem.
It’s important to remember,
especially when it’s hot.
All drivers, take heed,
and remember this when you stop.
This lesson my mother taught
is more than common sense.
Anyone can use it
in any circumstance.
When driving in the south
and parking in each lot.
Park your CAR butt to the sun,
so your steering wheel won’t get hot.

when I park in the sun, the whole inside of the car is hot
"super hot"........then Again, I must be doing something wrong.....
