They cannot imagine their own imagination.
Nor can they appreciate their inherent freedom.
But like the vagabond they ambles ever
in the course of adversity that ends never,
for they are poor and their story is as dismal
as that of the heart, wrecked by the tragic separation
of the hopeful hope from the canal of optimism.
Oh! If you could feel them then you would have realized,
how senseless is this world to their misery,
on who’s today, the tomorrow of the world depends.
Yet, the world marches on, beside the demons of animism,
disregarding the ignorant childhood days of the human evolution.
It is an abysmal curse upon mankind that any child should suffer. Sometimes I don't think this world has evolved at all. Powerful, soul-reaching write, my friend. Love and peace. Regis

Bhuwan, this piece pierced my heart. The tragedy of human indifference to those around us is unconscionable, and unfortuntatly widespread. Too many of us are blind to those in need who are right in front of us. I sometimes think the entire world is like Marie Antoniette who when told her people had no bread to eat reportedly said, "Let them eat cake!" Thank you for opening my eyes and reminding me that I am my brother's keeper.
At the rate things are going Bhuwan we may all be forced to feel them!
