There’s no such thing
as throw-away people
everyone matters;
nobody’s trash!
some have more wrappings
material trappings
but nobody’s trash.
people are people
they have different views,
different religions,
and various hues.
like paper and plastic
what goes round comes round,
but nobody’s trash.

some get more out of life
others have much strife
but nobody’s trash.
all life is a treasure
some find no pleasure
how can we rate people
what do we measure?
we recycle waste now
do folks have a chance
cause nobody’s trash.
people are people.
