It happens that the movement
Of the breeze in the early morn,
Which we style 'the fine horses
Of the fields,' is very similar
To the dust which quivers
In the sunbeams;
And of living things,
As they are blown
Against one another
By invisible strength
Of a breath of fresh air.

Recently, I learned that plants that grow outside are stronger than those that grow inside. The primary reason for this is that the outside plants are continually flexed by the wind, making their stalks and roots much stronger than plants that grow inside and are not subject to occasional winds, but grow weakly upward seeking the light from wherever it may be emanating.
