the juxtaposition of all that surrounds the attentive heron speaks volumes of the richness of life's sensory stimulation. If only more of our own species would stand on one leg and allow... just allow.

Seems like a koan, short, succinct, and to the point, painting an image that is meaningful and profound. The contract between the one-legged sage and the buzzing, humming, teeming is exquisite.
