Today, Oct. 8th, is the Second Term of Dew Season, the 17th Solar Term. A solar term is any of 24 points in traditional East Asian luni-solar calendars that matches a particular astronomical event or signifies some natural phenomenon. The points are spaced 15� apart along the ecliptic and are used by luni-solar calendars to stay synchronized with the seasons.

When in the early springtime It is good brooding about The chrysanthemum yellowness; When at the Harvest Moon All pine for the wild plum whiteness. . . Meanwhile, On the day of the Chilly Dew, I contemplate The crimson tangerines Fruited abundantly Throughout my wet dreams. . .
