That the great forests and wide vales, As well as high hills and deep rivers Are pleasant to the masses of people Is because their gods and spirits Cannot overcome those influences. When in springtime the rains And sunshine come seasonably, Vegetation grows luxuriantly And tools begin to be prepared By the lunar calendar's solar phases.
