From a knowledge of our limitations
The richness of experience emerges,
And we compose a symphony of tints,
Behaving ourselves a seemly conduct;
Richer than all--its green is speaking
Of power and vigor; its yellow tells us
Of the golden content in the iron safe;
And its purple drops heavy hints about
Retirement, self-imposed exile, death.
I put aside of what each color meant to the author, and this is an exceptionally beautiful picture. As Ron has said, the picture may have been photoshopped, but it is a very good artist's work.
I like to take the purple and enlarge that, retirement should be fruitful and should not be just a drop in the picture of life. It's how you feel that counts. I am retired, but I feel reborn, and it's time for me to do everything I had wanted to do and wasn't able to or didn't have the time to do while I was working.
