It is not what ye Gather,
Or have, that Matters;
But, rather what ye Scattered,
Or gave, that earns ye Blather!


Scatter ye Rosebuds while ye May!
Or write some Pomes or Prose Instead.
Leave behind thy Feet of Clay,
Soar O’er High, ‘til thy Head be Dead!


Or maybe ‘tis Seeds ye must Scatter?
Sowing Thine Oats sounds pretty Good,
Oatmeal Cookies made from Batter,
Or Tales of the Vienna Wood?


Thy Ashes may be Scattered,
By a Scattergun, in Scattershot,
O’er Land or Air, or O’er Sea,
But Onct ye be Dead - it Matters Not!


Pitter Patter, Splitter-Splatter,
As Mercury makes a Mad Hatter,
Whether ye be Fitter, or Fatter,
Be Sure to - Scatter, Scatter, Scatter!

To throw things around so that they land with an irregular distribution over a relatively wide area.
