SEA ISLE CITY SLICKER © - Tom Hyland - 08-06-08 There was He - Last Sun-Dy - Leanin’ on his Silver Jeep - Long, Tall, Wide - Jersey Creep! Bout - Six-Two - I Surmise? Handshake and a Bear-Hug - Sa-Prise - Sa-Prise! Hidden behind Shades N’ a Sea Isle City Cap, Big Teddy-Bear - Awakened from his Nap! Connie n’ Bernie - My Nieces Two- Wuz introduced to - This Tall Ole Shrew! Within Minutes - He had to - Dig - Nagged me ‘bout - Lightin’ - My Second Cig! Talked so fast - Wif Dat - Don’t Beat All - Joisey Ac-Cent - But Deep Down wuz Hidin’ - The Real Devil - Jersey Gent! Oh - he wuz Smooth, As he could Be - Makin’ Cracks ‘Bout - Lil Ole Me! Didn’t like Motorists from MERRY-LAND - Said we had no Sense - Should get D-W-I Driving Without Intelligence! This the Daddy - of Ole Rufuz - Pickin’ on Us - Jus’ Met this Sucker - N’ he made me Cuss! So there we Wuz - The Four of Us - Waggin’ our Tongues . WAWA’s Not Makin’ no Fuss! Half hour or More - ‘Spect we Kilt - Gittin’ Tongue-Lashed - No Remorse - No Guilt! Bein’s it Wuz - His Birf-Day - I wuz Nice - N’ let him Play! As a Lad, he Said - N’ I do Quote - Took People out Fishin’ - On his Daddy’s Boat! He knows the Shore - N’ its Environ - But his Poems Say - HE AIN’T NO - ALFRED LORD BYRON! Inside we Went - All got a Drink - Jus’ Sodie-Pop - What’d you Think? He Flapped his Gums - Til our Ears got Sore - N’ like The Raven Said - NO MORE - NO MORE! As We Parted as Friends - Like from the Start - I then Bellowed - from the Heart - “HAPPY BARFDAY ED - You Ole FART!” Post-Logue If’n you take in the Slack - You won’t be taken Aback - By avoiding an Attack - From The Jersey Devil - Ed Matlack! © - TKH

My brother don't look too bad in that pic, and you lead a very charmed life, my friend. Usually when I see him, it's before his monthly bath!!

PS You were a lot nicer to him than he was to you in his post, There is no such person as Tom Hyland!

I knew as soon as I saw the title you were going to talk of Ed. I hope you made his birthday special. Sounds if you tease him a lot. He is a great guy in my idea and he has a great friend Rene and talkes so good care of Rufuz. a Just a little gest in fun is alright but I will stand by and stick up for Ed. He is my friend on the den. Alrighty.

I told you people that there was no such a person as Tom Hyland, and now you can believe why I said that...damn tourist & shoobees I chased them to the county Zoo, in hopes they'd keep that guy from Merryland...apparently they did not do so & they let him drive back through Joisey...glad I decided not to drive that particular day...good though it was to meet someone that doesn't exist...Ed
