Beget the Trees

           ~Beget the Trees~

Earth lit among leafy branches
cozy as can be, you and me,
our get a way waving gently

Initialing our stepping stones
botany framed that light our
path to the sky remembered

Catching memories of moons
from metaphysical to fanciful
pristine of view, otherwise
begging nature's recollections

Appealing to the child in us 
branching out from platforms
of dreams coming true with
continuity in a house of trees

There is something biblical about this. A kind of rural idyll with a hint of morality. Paradise rediscovered perhaps.

I remember watching Swiss Family Robinson and the warm fuzzy I would get each time I watched this show! This brought back special memories of my childhood!

How did I miss this one, jeez! A getaway. Solitude and talks over coffee or something stronger. Bonding yet again and it is just as good this time. Bringing up memories and regrets. It was all good and no one knows except the forest and the trees.

During our hunting and gathering days, we probably lived in trees more often than in caves. Although all traces of such habitation are gone, you seem to have conjured them up in this poem based on modern concepts of tree living.

A wonderful platform of dreams coming true.
We visited Longwood Gardens in Lancaster, Pa.
There is a treehouse similiar to this one.
Keegan had a great time climbing and exploring
the treehouse. Love this poem of playful verses.
