Sunshine!

It has rained for about two weeks straight with slight breaks. "Cabin fever" mounts during periods like that.

I hesitate to ask, but what is that bright shiny thing in the sky? Is it a UFO, either way it is too scary to think of & wish for it to stay or go, just do one or the other...-e-

Give me a rainy day any time and i will consider myself lucky. It rains over here only a couple of time a year. With that kind of deprivation you get to really miss the rain. Can I re-write your poem's last line: "Horrible sunshine blinding, take me into the shade." John

Between the rain and the cooler temps, I'm ready for the sun to shine too. But now that means the yard needs mowed again. Maybe my granddaughter will do it for me, and I'll get to just soak up some rays.
