I do miss waking up and looking out to see the landscape softened and covered with such a beautiful mantle of white. Soft sculpture that that only winter can create. Thanks for the remembrance in this brief, but thorough, little poem of winter's delight.

There is something so magical that we as poets try to capture within the magic of a poem. A lovely reminder of the beauty of the winter season even if it can be harsh and grim.
