Gotta laugh, or I may die...

Time Bomb…

Per my doctor,

I am a time bomb, of late,

Damn triglicerides & cholesterol,

Could send me to heavens gate…

My medications I cannot always afford,

So I do my best and take them, trying not to hoard,

So if I am missing from the fray,

You may just include me in your daily pray,

As I may not be alive, or I may just be a bit gray…

I wish I were one of them, that eat and eat,

And never get any problems, that would be so neat,

But we all have our crosses to bear,

Right now I am caught in this particular snare,

Hoping that in future, with exercise, so rare,

My internal organs see fit to keep me alive,

As long as I keep putting my pills in there…
