Today’s Doctors Visit…

What to write about, nothing comes to mind, but one,

The doctor’s visit today will go down in the annals of time,

Two solid hours I sat, in a room no bigger than my closet,

For them to forget that I was there, closed the office on time…

Had my book, read till I was tired, fell asleep on the exam table,

Woke up as they were locking the door, set off the alarm, very capable,

In came the security men, called the local police,

All a misunderstanding, forgot I was there, only here was I to get “greased…”

The doctor called back in, she was humiliated, apologized profusely,

Hey doc, don’t push in too hard, hey that hurts, not my fault you were almost home,

So the doc she thinks, that insomnia is not a problem with me, hell I can sleep anywhere,

Even on an exam table, so cold and hard with bright lights in the ceiling up there…

No problems therein arose, still took my co-pay, even though I was left,

But they gave me tons of samples & bought me dinner; nothing for me was bereft,

I would have been happy with an apology, and some free drugs, which I did get,

I also got a nap, enough for me, anything I get for free, I am happy as a bee…

You, my darling Ed, are a card carrying loony tune! (my FAVORITE sort of person!) hehe... I sat here, imagining you in one of those little 'aprony' smocks with your poor butt sticking to that awful paper they put down, snoozing away. LOL. TA DA! Oh, and it was truly an act of kindness for you to remind me to pee before reading this... Jaysus, that would have been a mess, eh? (grin) (Thank god, this wasn't the dentists chair!) You're a pip, you are! katy xox.

Like a good student I went to the loo and finished my coffee.......but did not help me at all.......I still choked myself silly laughing!!
Did you read an Action/thriller before the greasy examination.....lol!!

No wonder you slipped off into dreamland...slipping away!!

LOL--is this fact or fiction? Talk about funny--this takes the cake!
I'm glad they gave you some good drugs--maybe too good?

Hey, wow! I'm gonna have to remember that next time I go to the doctor. For all that stuff you can bet I'll turn my head and cough! Oh, I think I hear Katy coming out of the bathroom now. Leave the seat up for me, Katy!

If this is fiction, it's hilarious!

If this is true, I think that doc owes you much more than a dinner and a movie; how about free medical care - for the rest of your life!
