ADVICE…

Advice I do take, especially from my elders,

Ed K being the one I find to be the most wise and old,

He gives excellent advice regards my dog and his cold,

He even on occasion gives me advice, as he has had all the vices…

No, I don’t herein speak of Ed in anything but humor,

I, like all on the site, love him dearly, well maybe not love,

But we all like him a lot, especially when he dons his glasses,

Starts giving out advice from the old sage he is,

Is that the sage that smells, or is it just old age…?

I salute you Ed K., your consideration and compassion is notorious,

Your love of dogs and cats and woodland creatures, uproarious,

Your love of humans like me, might just be considered inglorious…

Stay as you are, Ed, we really do love you as you are,

Well you could bathe now and then, that may make us a bit more happy,

Even Rufuz does bathe, once a year at least, needing it or not,

You could do the same, maybe this time using some soap,

That is the little bar that smells nice, your wife can show you,

As she is more close to your smell than the rest of us, nothing new…
